Disney Tips

Walt Disney World top tips from the ThemeParkBeds.com experts

Tips & Tricks… When they’re in the Parks…

  • Don’t go with the flow: your customers can avoid the early morning rush by heading straight to the very back of the park and working their way round anti-clockwise.
  • Advise your customers to not wander around with their valuables, but to leave them in their Disney Hotel. Many wedding rings have found their way to the bottom of pools!
  • If your customers are travelling with children, recommend that they organise a meeting place in case they get split up.
  • Tell your customers not to be afraid to plan in 'rest days' to re-energise and keep theme park burn-out at bay!
  • If your customers are visiting Magic Kingdom and want to meet Mickey Mouse, tell them to head to Town Square Exposition Hall on Main Street USA. Or they can pre-book their meet using Disney’s NEW MyMagic+ feature.
  • Tell your customers to make the most of their Extra Magic Hours every morning and evening. This is an exclusive benefit for on-site guests only, allowing them to experience the Parks for even longer.
  • When visiting Epcot advise your customers to take a change of clothes and a towel for kids so they can cool off when running through the foundations.
  • Take the Kilimanjaro Safari early in the morning when visiting Disney’ Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Your customers should expect to see more animals before they find shade from the hot afternoon sun.

Tips & Tricks… My Magic+

  • 10 days before your customers arrive at their Disney Resort Hotel they can customise their MagicBand with their name and are able to select from seven different colours. This can be done on MyDisneyExperience.com.
  • Your customers can further personalise their MagicBands once they are in Walt Disney World with CoverBands, MagicSliders and MagicBandits. This is a cool way to make their MagicBand completely unique and it’s a great souvenir. Your customers can find out more information when they check-in.
  • With Disney’s new FastPass+, your guests can pre-book their favourite rides and attractions up to 60 days in advance of their arrival. To understand how FastPass+ works, please click here.
